Feeling more than a little bit under the weather right now. Whatever my husband has hit me hard yesterday. I tried my best not to get sick, but the monster cough caught me.
Wayne feels horrible about sharing whatever this is with me, but we are now sporting his and her bottles of cough syrup.

It’s true, I am disappointed that our Christmas plans have changed, but I am so thankful that our daughter and her family came over earlier this week to set up and decorate our Christmas tree. Now I have its beauty to enjoy as I recover.
Not only did Beth spend her birthday decorating my home, but she also stopped by yesterday and did a porch drop of a little comfort and joy—Diet Coke, plus a DVD of “White Christmas” for us to watch.

Wayne was feeling well enough today to make chicken vegetable soup for our dinner. Comfort food.
Feeling loved and blessed.
Take care!

A hot bowl of homemade soup and a hot cup of tea with honey is love.

I like the bubbly of a carbonated beverage (especially when I’m sick), but I’ve been drinking lots of hot tea too. You’re right, a good cup of hot tea is love and comfort.
