“I, Cindie, take thee, Wayne, to be my wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part.”

I still do.

And I still love it when he kisses his bride.
It was July 3, 1976 — the same year our country celebrated its bicentennial. Now, here we are celebrating our own half-century.

We do not know what our future holds, but we know the One who holds our future. I pray the Lord will bless us with more years together and that we will honor Him with every single day and every single breath, “till death do us part.”
Congratulations!!!

Thank you, dear Beverly. I’m guessing we have fewer years ahead of us than behind us, but our hearts will be grateful for whatever number His good and gracious hand allows.
